Michelle Slement (Meesh) is a full-time data analyst and potter based in Denver, Colorado. Raised in Tampa,FL with South African heritage, Meesh is able to decompress creatively with her pottery craft and traveling the world. Due to a car accident in 2022, Michelle had to change hobbies from athlete to potter and has been re-inspired through many artists, classes, and workshops from the change.

About the pottery
From Florida to Japan, Michelle has lost count of the different classes and workshops she has attended to master her art and inspire her work. Meeshmud Ceramics pottery focuses on wheel thrown techniques and hand-painted work. Throughout the year, expect limited edition drops from different inspirations and technical workshops (such as woodfire) Meesh will attend.

your handmade pottery (unless specified) will be:
dinnerware safe (food/drink safe)
microwave safe (does get hot too)
oven safe (gets even hotter)
dishwasher safe (although I recommend handwashing your pieces)
hand wash with regular dish soap
use mineral oil to give life back to dry exposed clay

I ship on Mondays and Thursdays at noon. Any orders made will be shipped on the upcoming Monday/Thursday via standard shipping. Example - Saturday night order will be shipped on following Monday at noon.
Rush order shippings are available on request. Please contact Meesh if that is the case.

Meesh understands handmade ceramics are fragile and delicate.
Please email meeshmud@gmail.com photos of the damaged products and a refund/replacement can be offered depending on the circumstances.

Yes! All my ceramics are food-safe / dinnerware-safe unless noted in the description.
All orders come with a care instruction card as well for further clarity.
